April Fools’ Day

Our wisdom comes from our experience, and our experience comes from our foolishness.

Wise people are foolish if they cannot adapt to foolish people.

Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something.

The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes.

The world is full of fools;and he who would not wish to see one, must not only shut himself up alone, but must also break his looking-glass.

A mother takes twenty years to make a man of her boy,and another woman makes a fool of him in twenty minutes.

A fool may have his coat embroidered with gold, but it is a fools coat still.

Young men think old men fools, and old men know young men to be so.

A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

Controversy equalizes fools and wise men…and the fools know it.

The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself a fool.

The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other days of the year.

In the landscape of Spring there is neither better or worse. The flowering branches grow naturally, some long, some short.

I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden.

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.
